You are not alone
We are an Advocacy Campaign for
Essential Care Visitors and families who are the caregivers
for their loved ones in nursing homes.
Founded on March 12, 2020 at 5PM
when our loved one's nursing community was shut down due to
COVID-19.
We are a volunteer based entity
that provides caregiver advocate support, community, education and care collaboration
for all residents and their family consumers living in long term care facilities in New York State and nationwide.
ALL of our Staff, work from the Heart ~ we are so very grateful!
Our social media policy is that we don't engage in social media.
We know this sounds bizarre in this world of social media.
However - we believe in real time live engagement, with real data, accurate information and safe partners.
We serve our vulnerable residents, and believe that disinformation within the Social Media Platforms not only lacks empathy, but
contributes to providing more unnecessary suffering for our vulnerable and their Family Caregiver.
To receive quality care is a Federal Resident Right of the vulnerable for decades - has been
systemically dismissed and not endorsed.
The advocacy for this Federal Resident Right needs managed
with the care, dignity, respect, within a non-partisan platform that Essential Care Visitor works tirelessly to provide.
Our goal is for consumers to use our Essential Care Visitor Website as a sacred tool of current long term care news -
in partnership with our Media Partners.
We hope that our policy provides comfort and safety to assure you - whether you are a consumer, resident, media or writer -
we are a safe space to serve our vulnerable.
