Every bed in a nursing home resides a human being needing care, comfort and compassion.

A bed in a nursing home is not a provider data point, it is a vulnerable corner of the world where is someone's home is paying for dignity through their insurance and life savings.  As essential care visitors, we enter this room daily as we support our vulnerable loved ones. Our 705 Letters of Dignity action represents community voices to help a care community that is amidst a financial transaction whereby we highlight that nursing homes are not storage spaces for humans. We ask for a contingency approval upon sale paradigm that mandates a continuum of resident care plans from any new owner to guarantee dignity during such a financial operation transfer and transaction too often led by profit incentive, versus service innovation.
